Run 14 – March 2023

Run 14, or run 13 from the UK!, is now well underway and the team have safely arrived in Brovary after a non stop drive all the way from Weeze in Germany”!

This run includes for the first time, aid collected in the Sussex area under the banner of “Brass Band Aid for Ukraine”, together with a lot of medical equipment and aid from both Mike’s team in Scunthorpe and our friends in Germany. Mike is joined by Guy from Weeze as codriver for this run.

Here’s the aid being unloaded in Brovary:

Whilst there, they planned to deliver the medical aid personally to Bakhmut – however, things change rapidly out there and these items will now be taken out by Marina’s team.

They have though made it to Kharviv with a delivery which included walkers and wheelchairs for a home for the mentally and physically handicapped. Thanks to Andy Den who topped up the load before they left.

But Guy wasn’t so enamoured with the road surface!
